Technical view
Osiris v1.0 through to v1.3 exists to provide the role of a web site building mechanism for applications that may, or will, scale and need to be clustered. It contains a built in security model, dynamic object oriented page development system, internationalisation and point and click administration.
User view
Osiris provides a ready made infrastructure for users to build any type of site from a "portal" to a fully fledged "e-Commerce" site. Because it sits unobtrusively in the background your site looks and feels like you have developed it from nothing.
Because all fixes for issues or new features that users require are shared between all installations of Osiris you can be sure that your site(s) using it will at any point be running the best version that you are licensed to do so.
Developer view
The well documented Application Programming Interface (API), use of XML import and export and plugin mechanism makes it easy to develop and deploy your applications on Osiris.

With single point of administration support, built in cluster enablement and rugged security model your installation can grow with your needs - and what hardware is available!
